Early Voting for Re and By-Elections to be Held on March 29 and 30. |

Early voting for the April 3rd re and by-elections will be taking place for two days on Friday March 29 and Saturday March 30 from 6am to 6pm.
The details are as follows:
• Eligible voters who cannot vote on election day may vote at any early voting polling station in a constituency where an election is being held without prior registration.
• For early voting for these re and by-elections, a total of 43 early voting polling stations will be set up in each Eup/Myeon/Dong in the constituencies that are holding elections.
• Voters can check where the early voting polling station is in the Eup/Myeon/Dong of their registered address in the voting information they received. In addition, voters can check where all early voting polling stations are as well as other information such as the facilities they have for disabled voters on the NEC website (www.nec.go.kr) or on the ‘Election Information’ mobile application.
• A voter who has no registered address can register with either their Eup/Myeon Office or their citizen centre address and participate in early voting.
• When a voter goes to a polling station, they must take a form of identification such as a resident registration card, a driver''s license, and a passport or any idea with a photo that has been issued by a government office or a public organization.
• Voters who have not participated in early voting should vote at their registered polling place from 6am to 8pm on election day.
• Since these elections are re and by-elections, election day itself will not be a public holiday, The NEC urges voters who cannot vote on election day to actively use the early voting system to exercise their right to vote.
