  • Counting Method

    The NEC is adopting an intensive counting method in which ballot boxes are gathered at counting stations
    and counted once the voting is over.

    The NEC is making efforts to ensure prompt and accurate vote counting by introducing a ballot counting machine starting
    with the 1st National Simultaneous Local Elections in 1995 and a ballot sorting machine starting
    with the 3rd National Simultaneous Local Elections in 2002.

    5) Visually inspecting all ballots by counting staff
    6) Screen, verify, and count the classified ballots and those subject to re-confirmation

    • Return Envelope Receiver

      Supports prompt reception by accurately scanning barcodes on return envelopes for home voting,
      early voting, and overseas voting

      Increase the accuracy of counting by visually examining and checking ballots classified by political party and candidate.

      ② Visually examine and check through a ballot tabulation machine to see if ballots
