Candidate Registration for Elections for the 4th KPC President Completed, Two Candidates to Stand

The National Election Commission (NEC) of the Republic of Korea announced that Lee Myeong-ho, former Chairperson of the Korean Paralympic Committee (KPC) Icheon Training Center and Jang Chun-bae, Vice Chairman of the KPC, have registered as candidates for the upcoming elections for President of the KPC.

 

From January 7 to 17, candidates are allowed to campaign by producing campaign material and making phone calls, giving out business cards or using ICT. Voters can check the candidates’ information and pledges on the KPC homepage (http://president.koreanpc.kr).

 

Election material along with the information on voting will be sent to voters by January 10 and the election will be held after presentations by the candidates on January 18.

 

The candidates promised to ensure fair and clean election and to compete in good faith at a Resolutions for Fair Election Practice Conference and attended by the Secretary General of the Seoul City Election Commission Jeong Yeong-sik and Secretary General of the KPC Son Jin-ho.
