The Association of World Election Bodies (A-WEB) held a ceremony to appoint an A-WEB public relations ambassador at the Korea Civic Education Institute for Democracy in Suwon at 3pm on July 5, where world-renowned operatic pop tenor Lim Hyung-joo (Honorary Professor, Vocal Department of the Civica Scuola delle Arti, Rome) was commissioned as A-WEB’s first ever ambassador.

He was also appointed as the youngest member of the National Election Commission Advisory Committee composed of specialists from all walks of life, and in this role he will be advise on the creation of a clean and transparent election culture.

Lim said "I am very honored to be appointed as A-WEB Public Relations Ambassador and on the National Election Commission Advisory Committee. I will use my voice to support the precious values of freedom, fairness, and harmony so they can resonate not only in our country but also all over the world.” ​
