The Korean Civic Education Institute for Democracy (KOCEI) signed an MOU with the Asia Pacific Center of Education for International Education under the auspices of UNESCO (APCEIU) on February 7 for the spread of civic education for democracy and global civic education. 

KOCEI, a professional organization focused on civic education for democracy, pledged to actively explore and promote education for democracy and global civic education projects in cooperation with the APCEIU. As an international organization under the auspices of UNESCO, the APCEIU is conducting global civic education for international understanding, cooperation and peace.

Seo In-deok, the President of KOCEI, said “through this agreement, we will make efforts to contribute to civic education for democracy and global civic education by developing more civic education content, holding academic conferences such as international symposiums, and exchanging information in periodicals.”
