NEC Attended International Workshop held in Indonesia

The delegation from the National Election Commission (NEC) attended the international workshop in Jakarta, Indonesia, jointly organized by the General Elections Commission of Indonesia (KPU) and Instituto Federal Electoral of Mexico (IFE) from July 2 to 4.

The NEC delegates presented the history, roles and activities of AAEA and the progress in regards to the launch the Association of World Election Bodies (A-WEB) together with the A-WEB charter agreed in the Working Group meeting held in March on Jeju Island. In addition, they also introduced the participation in the A-WEB Inaugural Assembly and the 6th GEO Conference which will be held in Korea in October as well as the membership of the A-WEB.
