Visit of PILDAT delegation from Pakistan

The delegation of PILDAT (Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency) including Ambassador of Pakistan, Shaukat Ali Mukadam, visited the National Election Commission (NEC) of Korea on April 24th.

In this meeting, Secretary General of NEC, Mr. Moon Sang-boo, explained the progressed electoral system of Korea and answered several questions the delegation showed interests in such as management of intraparty competition, subsidies for parties, civic education, etc.

In addition, the delegation introduced PILDAT as an independent, non-partisan institute to strengthen democracy and democratic institutions in Pakistan and gave a brief introduction of Pakistan’s electoral process and schedules of upcoming elections.
