16 electoral officials from Thailand and Sri Lanka visited the NEC on April 28^th, 2015, as part of a training program provided by the Korean Civic Education Institute for Democracy.

In the program, KOCEI is planning to provide the electoral officials opportunities to learn about Korea’s election system and the election management, voting and counting systems using ICT.

As Korea’s by-election is scheduled to be held on April 29^th, the officials visited the early voting station in Seongnam-si, and are planning to observe the voting and counting processes in Gwanak-gu in Seoul on the election day.
