Training program for election officials from Sudan

The Korean Civic Education Institute for Democracy (KOCEI) provides a training program for election officials from Sudan visiting Korea for 13 days from July 24 to August 5.

There will be an introduction session on the election system and early voting management techniques in Korea and discussions on how to improve the election system in the participating country throughout the training program.

In addition, the KOCEI expressed its hope that the training program would greatly help to improve the election management and the election system in the participating country through the visit to an early polling station on July 26 to observe the early voting management process and the visit to a polling station and a counting center on July 30, election day to observe the counting management process as well as the voting progress.

The KOCEI has provided 32 training programs to 386 election officials from 44 emerging democracies and been acclaimed for its contribution to building friendly relations with the participating countries and the development of democracy around the world.
