11 members from the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission of Kenya (IEBC) visited the National Election Commission on Thursday 11th June as part of the A-WEB training program on electoral ICT.

 
The Director General of Planning Heo Cheol-hoon greeted the guests with welcoming remarks before they were introduced to the Korean election system. The IEBC officials also toured the Commissioners meeting room and exchanged gifts during the visit.

The training program, hosted by the Association of World Election Bodies (A-WEB) in Song-do, ran from 30th May to the 12th June, and throughout the two weeks they took part in a thorough analysis of the ICT systems used in Korean elections and the possible achievements and benefits of ICT in elections, which led to a discussion to improve the electoral ICT system in Kenya.
