The 6th Global Electoral Organization Conference (GEO Conference) was co-hosted by the National Election Commission of the Republic of Korea and UNDP from October 15 to 17 at Convensia and hotel Sheraton in Songdo international city of Incheon, Korea. Under the theme of “Sustainable Electoral Process, Strengthened Democracy,” the conference held ten breakout sessions for three days and turned out to be the largest international meeting in the electoral history.

The conference was a meaningful event in terms of not only sharing knowledge and experience in fair election and democratic development, but also reaching a consensus on international electoral assistance in transitional democracies.
