NEC of Korea and CEC of Georgia signed an MoU
The National Election Commission (NEC) of Korea and the Central Election Commission of Georgia (CEC of Georgia) agreed to sign an MOU for strengthening the friendship and cooperation in the field of elections on June 14.
In addition, Mr. Lee In-Bok, the Chairperson of the NEC, and Mr. Zurab Kharatishvili, the Chairperson of the CEC of Georgia had official talks through the exchange in opinions about ways to improve both countries’ electoral law and establishment of the Association of World Election Bodies (A-WEB)
The CEC of Georgia expressed their full support for the foundation of the A-WEB in the meeting with the NEC.
Lastly, Mr. Lee In-Bok and Mr. Zurab Kharatishvili have agreed that they will put more efforts to develop democracy and establish the advanced election cultures for both nations in the field of election in the future. |
