Policy Debate for the National Assembly Elections

The National Election Broadcasting Debate Commission announced that it will hold the “1st Policy Debate for the National Assembly Elections” for two hours at 10 AM on 30th January leading up to the 19th National Assembly elections, as inviting heads of policy committees in 7 political parties.

 

It is expected that heads of policy committees will make a heated discussion on the subject: ‘Economic Policies to Address Social Polarization’; ‘Policies for Small and Big Businesses’ and ‘Measures for farmers, fishermen, small traders and enterprisers’.

 

The group of debaters will be consisted of: vice chair of policy committee in the Grand National Party; National Assembly member from the Democratic Unity Party; head of policy committee in the Liberty Forward Party; secretary-general of the Future Hope Alliance; head of policy committee in the Unified Progressive Party; representative of the Creative Korea Party; and deputy representative of the New Progressive Party.

 

The commission announced that the debate will be presided over by broadcaster Jung-A Yu and will be aired live on MBC, KBS and SBS nationwide, as it asked voters to have a keen interest in the debate.
