The ceremony for appointing celebrity ambassadors was held in the NEC Office Building on February 25, 2010. Three famous entertainers, Su Jong CHOI, Hee Ra HA and Ji Sun PARK, were appointed as celebrity ambassadors by National Election Commission of Korea (NEC).

The NEC has commissioned celebrity ambassadors in every public election to carry out various publicity activities effectively. Entrusted celebrity ambassadors work in various fields of activity such as appearing in CF and other promotion materials to enhance citizens’ voting participation and the fairness of elections.

Su Jong CHOI and Hee Ra HA, known as a celebrity couple leading a happily married life, are representing the slogan of the 5^th Nationwide Local Elections, “Your vote, it''''s the voice for you and your family”. Additionally, Ji Sun PARK, a famous comedian by winning in a TV quiz show, is going to be involved in public relations activities for the coming election in June especially in providing voting information.

The NEC will do everything in its power to carry out various publicity activities with celebrity ambassadors to
 accomplish fair and clean election in the 5^th Nationwide Local Elections.
