VOTING IN KOREA
In case of a sudden return to Korea, is it possible to vote in Korea?
Don't worry. After returning to Korea, you can vote.
Q. What is Voting in Korea?
A. Overseas citizen voters who return to Korea before starting overseas voting period can vote in the polls in Korea on the election day after reporting to National Election Committee.
※Overseas citizen voters and etc. are not allowed to vote in the preliminary polls.
Q. Where can you vote?
"A. Overseas absentee : in the polling station in the jurisdiction of voter's address
    Overseas Voters : in the polling station designated by the Election Committee in Gu, City, and Gun of voter's address"
Registraton for Voting in Korea
Registration subject : Overseas voters and overseas absentees who return to Korea before starting overseas voting period(by April 24, 2017)
Registration deadline : Before polls close on the election day
Document to be submitted : Submit the registration form of voting after returning to Korea with attached documentation to verify the fact of returning to Korea
※Overseas voters should present 'Original copy of identifying nationality' announced by an overseas voting manager.
※Example of document to identify nationality : Visa, certificate of permanent residence, long-term residence certificate, foreigner registration certificate of resideing country and etc.
Where to submit City/Gun/Gu Election committee of voter's address 
Overseas absentee : Election committees in City/Gun/Gu Election committee of voter's address
Overseas voters : Election committees in City/Gun/Gu Election committee of voter's latest address(Permanent domicile address for voters without the latest address)
